The Lords of Cinder

Bosses

Interestingly enough, Vordt seems to have a connection to the Dancer, as his soul tells us.
Soul of Boreal Valley Vordt - One of the twisted souls, steeped in strength. Vordt served as an outrider knight, never far from the fleeting dancer.
So Vordt has a connexion to the Dancer. They are both under the utilise of Pontiff Sulyvahn, so it makes sense they would at least know each other. However, the way the soul is worded makes information technology seem like Vordt had feelings for the Dancer. Nosotros volition likely never know at present, as Vordt has get a crazed Brute, and the Dancer isn't in speaking shape either.
Curse Rotted Greatwood

Crystal Sage

Deacons of the Deep
The Deacons are one of the more straightforward bosses. They are the grouping of people who pb the Cathedral of the Deep. They are led by Archdeacon Royce who appears near the end of the boss fight. The other members are simply priests and other deacons under the use of the Cathedral of the Deep.
Very little is said near the actual faith, however we practice know the Deacons were enlightened of and probable helped with the sacrifices that the game alludes to. People would be brought to the Cathedral of the Deep and killed as they were fed to Aldrich. We spoke almost this further upward the folio when we talked nigh Aldrich.
So the Cathedral of the Deep would accept sacrifices then feed them to Aldrich, who they worshipped as their Saint. In one case Aldrich left, Archdeacon Royce stayed behind to lead the church building and protect Aldrich bury. This much is stated by their combined soul.
Soul of the Deacons of the Deep - After Aldrich left for the Boreal Valley, Archdeacon Royce remained in the cathedral with the loftier priests, to continue eternal watch over their master'southward coffin.
And then after Aldrich was revived, the Deacons protected the coffin he once inhabited. This is how nosotros find them. The fight with the dominate takes place in the giant sleeping room housing Aldrich's old coffin and we end upwardly killing Archdeacon Royce.
High Lord Wolnir
Wolnir, the boss establish at the finish of the Catacombs of Carthus is a large skeleton trapped within the Abyss. One of the most interesting aspects of this dominate is how we admission him. How did he end up in the Abyss to begin with. Well, we know Wolnir was likely a Pyromancer. Carthus was filled with Pyromancy, every bit it was a staple of their warriors. This is explained in the Carthus Flame Arc and Carthus Beacon pyromancies. We also know Wolnir probable took over control of Carthus, as it'due south stated on his crown that he was a well known conqueror. Once he had control of Carthus, he went on to trounce the rulers of other nearby lands too.
And then Wolnir rose upwardly, took control of Carthus and crushed any opposition he met from foreign lands. He likewise, as information technology turns out, was a savage executioner and would accept people killed constantly.

At some point Wolnir plant the Abyss and tried harnessing information technology'south power. This was a foolish choice, as we know anyone who messes with the Abyss is inevitably consumed by information technology. Wolnir is no exception, and eventually he was consumed by the Completeness. This is the land we find him in, as he has been enveloped entirely past the Completeness, and is barely property on to life, merely thanks to the Bracelets that offering him the slightest bit of comfort and protection from the darkness.
Old Demon Male monarch
Perhaps ane of the easier bosses to speak about, the Old Demon King is exactly what his name implies him to exist. He is the ruler of the Demons, a group of creatures spawned from the Chaos Flame.
Back before Gwyn ever linked the First Flame, the Witch of Izalith tried to create a new flame. Had she succeeded the world would surely exist a different place, but she did not. Failure wasn't plenty though, as her endeavour to create a new flame led to the creation of the Chaos Flame. It was a twisted, perverted flame that killed the Witch and several of her daughters, and so began to spawn hideous monsters, after known as Demons. His soul helps shed a bit of light on this:
Soul of the Old Demon Rex - The shriveled Old Demon King is at present like a dodder of burnt ash, just he is the concluding living witness of the Chaos of Izalith.
The Chaos Flame and the Demons have existed for countless millennia, and it's merely now in Dark Souls iii that we learn the Chaos Flame is running out of power. The Old Demon King is the last of the powerful Demons, and he rules over what tiny bit of Izalith remains, which in Dark Souls 3 is called the Smouldering Lake and Demon Ruins.

And then at some point in the past, the army of Lothric Kingdom engaged in combat with the Demons, and Lorian struck down the Demon Prince. Perhaps the Demons were growing desperate to find a manner to survive, and lashed out against Lothric Kingdom.
Devious Demon & Miscellaneous Demons
In that location are 3 other major Demons constitute in Nighttime Souls three. I is an one-time Aviary Demon called the Stray Demon. Fans of the other games should recognize him, as he is the first boss of Dark Souls one, except this time he is coated in ash.
