Cool Crafts Easy for Boys in 5th Grade to Do When Bored
These easy crafts for kids are great for any age. You can make these projects at home with simple supplies, and adults can join in too. Most of them are pretty quick; all of them are attainable.
I know that one of the hardest things in the world is coming up with a craft idea right when you need one. I'm one of those people that always has a plethora of projects ready to roll, except when you ask me for something specific.
For example, you could say "Amy, I have three kids at home ages 3, 5, and 9 – and they're bored. Give me some easy craft ideas for kids."
Um. I'll take "give me some project inspiration for $1000, Alex."
I'm just about in my mid-40s, so rather than pretend I can come up with things on the fly, I'm just going to start making lists. I also feel like I'm adding more nieces and nephews by the day, so these will come in handy for me too.
You might be wondering what my favorite supplies are to make said "easy crafts for kids." Here's a list of what I love using:
- Mod Podge – of course
- Perler beads
- Duck Tape
- Pipe cleaners
- Pom poms
- Foam sheets and letters
- Polymer clay
I basically love using any kids' craft supplies, but these are my faves. The more colorful, the better as far as I'm concerned.
